Jesse Boese

In the 39 years Sensei Tanaka has been teaching, 9 year old Jesse Boese became the youngest student to pass the black belt examination on October 4, 2008.

Jesse has been practicing karate since he was 5 years old. He has participated in several national and international tournaments and as of Dec '09, has won 11 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. His goal in Karate is to someday become a World Champion in both Kata (forms) and Kumite (fighting).

Jesse is an honor roll student. His other interests include basketball, football, wrestling and Guitar Hero. He dreams about being a FBI Agent when he grows up.
